What do the plaster casts tell us?
In two recent UFO documentaries ("UFO Invasion At Rendlesham" & "Britain's Roswell") witness, Jim Penniston, displayed one of the plaster casts which he made of the alleged
landing marks. If you read the "first night: 25/26" page you will remember that three identical indentations on the forest's floor were discovered after the initial event on the 25/26 December 1980. They were found in the same area where the UFO was sighted, so the witnesses assumed they were 'landing marks' left by the object. Jim Penniston visited the landing site later on in the morning and took three plaster casts of the landing traces.
The sequence of frames used to make the animation above were taken from the History Channles, "Britains Roswell" and have been used under fair use.
Using the images above, I have created a reconstruction of the plaster cast's shape.
Although the memorandum which Lt. Colonel Halt sent to the MoD speak of an object on legs. It reads "the object was hovering or on legs." Would the object look more like this?
Sceptics have claimed that it would be silly for an object from 'outer-space' to travel all to earth with flimsy legs to support it. This new evidence suggests that the object was never on 'flimsy legs' in the first place. Using a mirrored image of the plaster cast, I have been able to recreate the depressions that would have been made an object of such shape had been pushed into the floor.
