What do the plaster casts tell us?

In two recent UFO documentaries ("UFO Invasion At Rendlesham" & "Britain's Roswell") witness, Jim Penniston, displayed one of the plaster casts which he made of the alleged Plaster casts rendleshamlanding marks. If you read the "first night: 25/26" page you will remember that three identical indentations on the forest's floor were discovered after the initial event on the 25/26 December 1980. They were found in the same area where the UFO was sighted, so the witnesses assumed they were 'landing marks' left by the object. Jim Penniston visited the landing site later on in the morning and took three plaster casts of the landing traces.
The sequence of frames used to make the animation above were taken from the History Channles, "Britains Roswell" and have been used under fair use.

Using the images above, I have created a reconstruction of the plaster cast's shape.Plaster cast

Feet supports

Although the memorandum which Lt. Colonel Halt sent to the MoD speak of an object on legs. It reads "the object was hovering or on legs." Would the object look more like this?

Landing legs

Sceptics have claimed that it would be silly for an object from 'outer-space' to travel all to earth with flimsy legs to support it. This new evidence suggests that the object was never on 'flimsy legs' in the first place. Using a mirrored image of the plaster cast, I have been able to recreate the depressions that would have been made an object of such shape had been pushed into the floor.

Jim Penniston's notepad

In the same two UFO documentaries (mentioned above) Jim Penniston also produced his notebook which he claims to have written in as he was observing the UFO.

This image was also created from frames from the History Channel's production, "Britain's Roswell".

Penniston's Notepad

Jim Penniston claims that the unknown object was stationary and that he was able to walk around it and examine it. As he did so, he wrote notes in his notepad. Obviously there is no way to prove that the notes were written when he claims to have written them. While examining the object, Penniston claims that he discovered some symbols on the craft, they looked familiar but he did not know why. Here they are, taken directly from his notepad.

Raw symbols from UFO Rendlesham

They are quite well drawn considering Penniston was in a dark forest as well as standing up. Although Penniston and Burroughs claim that the light originating from the object was very bright, so it's possible that the surrounding area was well lit. The memorandum that Lt. Colonel Halt sent to the MoD confirms this, he said, "It illuminated the entire forest with a white light".
